My "Winkie Dragon Goblets" I started making after seeing a beautiful dragon goblet in the Victoria and Albert Museum. Mine are better. I used to tell people that I modeled them after the gargoyles at Notre-Dame. That was a lie. I actually modeled them after one of our dogs, Winkie. He's a Lhasa Apso with a severe overbite. His face is the best little dragon face you ever saw. So, anyway, a hundred years from now, when you see one of my "Winkie Dragon Goblets" in some great museum somewhere, don't listen to any gargoyle stories. By the way, these are also the most fragile thing I make, So if you are looking for some get drunk and get loud partyware, this ain't it. |
